I have talked with many people who have used these foreclosure services and have used one or two of them myself and all I can say is don't bother, they don't have the inside scoop, how could they? They information they purport to have is held in strict confidence by the banks. I listed a home that was close to foreclosure last year, In order to get enough time to get everything done and get it sold and to closing I had to talk to the bank on my clients behalf. In order to even get them to acknowledge that my client was there customer, and I had his statements in my hand, I had to send them signed notarized letters with his signature and social security number and account numbers, and a copy of his photo id to them first. How could the foreclosure info people have much reliable info??
My advice, save your money, call a active Realtor, I come across 3 to 8 really good deals every year just in running my business, you don't need to concentrate on foreclosures. Also many times the people getting foreclosed on owe more money on the house then it is currently worth, the bank wants all that back, and will try to get it for a while, so while the bank is doing that, the house usually sits empty, deteriorating further.
