Default quick website critique please

Hey guys I'm not quite finished with the site but any feedback would be appreciated. The basic idea I'm working it is to have the third column on just the index page and not the other pages but I'm not completely sure about it yet.

Also when I get my IDX feed going, is there any reason I shouldn't have it on the front page??

Thanks in advance.

web looks good! Like the Featured Listings Displayed on front page. I would do some type of quick search on right instead of Mortgage Calc. I don't see any problems with IDX on homepage depending on what idx service you use.

I like the site, Michael. It has personality, it is well laid out. Easy to know what it's about, the nav has lots of links but doesn't feel overwhelming.

I would just add a couple more things (I suspect you're already working on them) - an 'about us' page and 'contact us' page with links. That, and maybe a phone number in the footer.

Other than that I like it. Good luck with it!

Hey Michael,

I like it a lot. It's really easy to navigate... Which is definitely important.

I think it needs some optimized content on the homepage. But other than that, it's great.

The site is good, If you are going to do a IDX I would put it on the main page where you have your first Featured Listing. That is where it belongs. Banish the mortgage calculator to a less prominent part of your main page. possibly change the background of your navigation bar to the same as the main part of the page. You are about 98% of the way to where you need to be, so don't take what I said to harshly.

Hey everyone I appreciate all the feedback!

DallasRealtor- Quick search on the right was something I've thought about.. might be a better idea to just have the calculator under a 'tools' section maybe?

Borino - Yes definitely working on the Contact/About pages.. I had done so many previous sites before settling on this design I actually forgot!

Nick - The optimized content is what I'm not completely sure how to implement. Like most people have suggested I'm planning on having the IDX on the front page, should I have some sort of blurb before that?

James - Definitely appreciate the criticism!

Michael the site looks great. The only problem was the homepage loaded a little slow for some reason ( I have cox cable) . Other than that I'm digging it.
Man I bet Tucson has exploded since I was last there about 8 years ago. I was down there because I almost took a skydiving flying job in Marana. I remember staying with some friends off Orange Grove Road or something like that. Cool place.

Barry - Yes Tucson has definitely changed since the last time you saw it.. tremendous growth in all directions. I actually live out in Marana now although it is probably nothing like what you remember; I've probably gone skydiving at the place you're talking about (Skydive Marana?). Thanks for taking a peek at my site!

Best thing about your website is it doesn't look cookie cutter. I have cookie cutter websites as do most of the general public that know anything about the web.
