We have a situation where the seller had made arrangement to pay rent, in order to buy the house we are living in now. We recently did the closing for the house, all the documents are signed, the deed is in our names, and we have a bank ready to give us a home loan. Now the seller is saying they don't want to sign ONE document, and we don't know why.
my question is.. Can a seller relist a property (legally) or back out and try to get more money then what they agreed on with us initially? ~CHRISTINA~ i would like the answers.. sent to my email... diversecityfan@hotmail.com thank you ![]() |

Hi Christina,
All depends on your States law. What state are you in? Who did your closing/settlement? Have you spoken with a Real Estate Attorney? Was this deal handled though a Realtor or was this a FSBO type thing? My suggestion would be to contact a Real Estate Attorney in the morning and get them all the facts. Agreed. I would talk to a real estate attorney on this one.
