I've gotten several major RE bloggers to link to me. They haven't show up yet in the inbound links when I do link:myurl'sblogpage. So how can I tell if my text link on those sites' blogrolls are "no follow" or not?

Go to the page that your link is located on and right click your mouse. Then click view source. Read through the code until you find your link. Once you find it read your link code and see if there is something that says rel="nofollow".

There are firefox extensions that do it for you also.

I'm using one that actually puts a pink dotted line around the link. Hmm.. one second...


Much better. So I don't need to keep checking the code with it

Brandon, Are you saying that in firefox as you are using it, links that have nofolow on them are surrounded with pink dots? If so how did you set firefox to do that?

seems kind of handy if that is what you are saying.

That command doesn't show all links. If you use Google's webmaster tools, you can see more links, including the no follows.

Hmmm, This thread does not seem to be in the right forum, but yet it is interesting, and getting traffic.

I installed crome edit as the site you gave suggested Brandon but yet it still does not work??? I am at a loss.

Google's webmaster tools, does that only work on your own site? meaning only on sites you actually submit?

I didn't install chrome edit, I did the manual change instead So can't help you with that!

And Google webmasters tools is only for your own sites. You have to prove you own them.

ok, so am I missing something? I looked at all the controls that are availible to me in Foxfire but nothing like that was availible?

I forget how.. but you type something into the browser to pull up the coded values.

Oooh, through the miracle of google(praised be he), just put about:config into firefox.

That will bring up everything.

No idea of the option inside that I did to edit it though, I found it back in march my bad.
