Default New Google Analytics Reporting Interface

Anyone else taken a look at the new Google Analytics reporting interface? The jury is still out, but after 10 minutes going thru the new displays, I'm not impressed

Hmm...I don't see anything changed on my end yet. Perhaps they are still rolling it out. The front page shows a screenshot though.

They haven't migrated my account yet, but I can take a tour. It looks cool and all but I don't think I'll ever understand 100% how to use analytics to the fullest. I think an analytics 101 class would be awesome if they had it, hehe.

I don't like it very much but I think I am just resistant to change. I'll probably grow to like it better than the old one eventually.

You know what I would like instead? Real time reporting. Gee whiz, get with it Google. I'm having a rockin day here and I can't even see the last 3 hours. Grr.

That's a lot of data to query their servers, for everytime a webmaster wants to log in.

What's to stop someone from putting it to their google page, and putting 'autorefresh' on, say... 30 seconds. That would suck to be their bandwidth =/

Like anything new there's some stuff you have to get use to (like the calendar/ date selection being moved) but with some of the new reports and the more robust interfaces you should be able to drill down deeper into your site and get some great leanings out of the new reports. So while change can be a pain, the benefit should be very tangible.

I'm with you Lydia ..... I'd like real time reporting of site visits (which does not appear to be an option with the new interface). Perhaps when it comes out of beta they'll allow an option that will at least report the current days activity *which on my New Report was devoid of any data*
