I don't do websites for other agents, but I am constantly being asked and of course think you all do the best job out there. Do you guys have any kind of referral system if I bring an agent to you that buys a template?

I PMd Morgan about this awhile back. He told me they pay 10% gross as long as the person uses REW for hosting.

So if they buy a template with IDX that costs $3500, you get $350.

Then the hosting is $360 per year, so you would receive $36 per year.

Is the referrals only for REW customers? I.e. if I referred someone here, would I get it

Yes we DO have resellers but what is quoted below is not correct.

First of all, what I PM'd you Michael is not a referral fee, it is a credit for REW services for a total of 10% of the gross purchase price of the referral. So if someone refers a client that purchases a custom for $5000 USD, we will provide you with $500 of REW services at no cost (Design, programming, SEO, writing whatever you like)

For customers however it MUST be a true referral - if a customer is listed on our portfolio and sees one of our client websites, and calls that client to get feedback on our services, this does not count as a referral as it is actually a lead generated by us, not by the customer. Also imagine if that person called 20 people in the portfolio for references, if we paid 10% to each, we would actually be out money

So for your referral to count, it has to be someone who has not already encountered REW and / or enquired about services.

You do not need to be an REW customer to get this referral fee, it is open to anyone interested in receiving great graphics, writing etc at no cash cost.

We do also have resellers that get paid out on referrals, but these relationships are private, and need to be negotiated with myself. Compensation depends on level of involvement with the lead (Are you selling them, or just passing them our name) as well as volume and several other factors. We are working on a much more standard reseller program, only so many hours in a day though

They certainly do not need to be in your market - agents talk to other agents all over the country
