Hey guys,
As many of you know, I started a local web design firm here in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island, and I am just working on the final details for the design. You can view it here http://www.nanaimowebmasters.com/ Now please do not critique internal pages, or content etc as it is just placeholder, what I am looking for is some feedback on the feature on the main page, if you click the #2 or the #3 in the flash you will notice it scrolls up and then back down to show you more of the website we created. Now I did not create this, it was one of my students Ying and she thought if it is just static they don't get to see the full impression of our projects - I am not married to this either way, but wanted to get other users feedback Thanks for your time as always guys.

I've got DSL and it vibrates slightly as it moves. I would like it slower so I could read a little more.

Oh certainly I agree, this is basically V1 meaning if people like the concept, we will send it to one of the senior designers for polishing and optimization, just wanted to get feedback on the concept. Thank you btw

I like the idea, but perhaps a slow mouse-reaction script may work better instead of the scrolling? If they want to see it slower or faster or just go back and forth you have to wait for the scrolling.. and it doesnt repeat..
Maybe make the fact that you can click on the #'s more apparent?

Hello from Omaha NE
As far as the scrolling feature, the window is too small. Maybe if you keep it that small it would be better scrolling text? Testimonial type? Cool stuff though. http://www.nanaimowebmasters.com/ MarkCiochon.com |

When I roll over the top nav the drop down is off. I am assuming that isn't working yet. I hate drop down menus that are super touchy. My hand shakes a bit.

Yeah like I said, it's in Dev and only wanted comments on the flash
But thank you, in firefox the suckerfish dropdowns are fine, but freakin IE 6 and 7 are retarted as always and still have some debugging to do.For the member who posted in the swish logo, did you also notice that it makes an N and a W (Makes it even cooler because the company is "Nanaimo Webmasters" - it is also a play on the waves logos used by the city and Tourism Nanaimo (Also a client of ours) so should appeal to locals
