This is my new site on Houston Real Estate ...I have been working to grow it with lots of hard work and good useful articles... It has weather, photos, and MLS. I need a contact form and more photos- I think but I am open to suggestions. Please let me know what you think!

Jason having already seen your http://www.sellinggalveston.com (And being impressed) I must admit I am really not a big fan of much of this new site. It just really looks homemade, and not in the "with love" kind of way, more like the "my first shot at html" sort of way.
The colors and borders are off, the buttons are not alligned, the text is to small (Or in some cases to big) And to top it off, the main page content (Did not look at the rest) is taken from another website without giving credit or posting that you have permission. This is intellectual property theft where I come from. http://www.houstonbusiness.com/houstonfacts/ What's up with that?

OMG sorry dude, I thought you had built www.sellinggalveston.com - so I was really surprised at a much less refined skill level in your new site, I guess I assumed wrong. My appologies, for a first time effort, it is actually not all that bad (Feels like an ass)
You mention you had your "ex" assistant write that mainpage, well I hope you did not pay her for it, because she stole it from someone else, and just the mere fact that you currently have it published on a website you own without permission is a violation of United States copyright law, so I would seriously be using my new found html skills to delete that right away before you get in trouble.

For a first time go at HTML i'll Agree with Morgan, It is pretty good! now my suggestions....
-Header Image has a lot of white space, which can work but yours is not really balanced....I would work on a new header for sure. -Navigational "Buttons" under header has too small text and are not all lined up. -It may look more together if the webpage was centered in the browser rather than at the left margin. - Other than that, my only complaint would be that nothing really lines up together on the site....lots of different text margins, the top of the page seems left margin while the bottom of the page seems somewhat centered. Definitely a good first go....are you using HTML code from scratch? or are you using a program like Dreamweaver to build this site?
