Hey guys,
I'm thinking that since the new template for the blogs was initiated, the name changes were lost. Can we look into this? I'm not able to see my blog anymore under the name it was changed to: I had changed my name from "realestatesteve" to "Houston Realtor": Old Name: http://www.realestatewebmasters.com/...alestatesteve/ New Name: http://www.realestatewebmasters.com/...uston-realtor/ Many of the name change requests are found in this thread. Thanks in advance!

I do not think it is broken Steve
- The URL did not change when you changed your name, the reason for this was that we didn't want people to loose their cached and perhaps linked to posts, just because they wanted to change their display names. What I did notice though, is that your right hand side is not showing up for me while others is (Bio and photo)

So am I reading this correctly. That even though you have been making changes, the URL of each blog had remained the same so any linking is not affected. Right?
Jim

That is correct
I am not changing the URL structure of the Blogs, that part is fixed so no linking will ever be adversely effected.

http://www.realestatewebmasters.com/...uston-realtor/ But it says that "The selected blog could not be found". If I'm understanding you correctly, the name change only changed the name of the author and not really the file structure. Basically what I'm saying is that when I log in, I can't access anything because of that error. I have to change the URL back to the old name to get it to work. But even then, when I try to post a new blog post, it directs me to: http://www.realestatewebmasters.com/...n-realtor/new/ How will this work if my blog isn't found? My apologies for the confusion, but I'd be happy to troubleshoot via phone. Let me know.

Hi Steve,
I believe I've corrected this problem. I ran a few tests to make sure that this error no longer occurs after a username change. Please let me know if you continue to have any trouble. Cheers,

Hi Michael,
It looks to be pretty functional now. The only thing I see is when a user selects "my blog" the new username is entered into the file structure and I believe Morgan said he wants to keep this as the old name to preserve the cached pages. This results in the blog being reported as "not found". Is there a way to make the "My blog" link stay the same (keep the old file structure?)
