I am working on trying to make my featured listings sizzle a little and, I have to admit, I am no artisan when it comes to this stuff. So, if anyone could take a minute to give me some suggestions on how to pretty up this featured listing I sure would appreciate it.
I am currently running some PPC for this house that links the ad to this page so any ideas would be helpful. Thanks in advance, Ryan http://www.ryanwardrealestate.com/details.php?mid=12

Ryan,
I think it looks great. The pertinent details are there, the only thing I see missing is a link for directions. Why don't you do a map on google maps, generate the link, and pop that guy in this page under: -Insert a line break (<br />)- Directions: Link Goes Here EDIT: Noticed you have the square footage gone too. Can you include this?

Steve,
Great idea, thanks. I can actually frame an interactive map like the one here: ryanwardrealestate.com/atlanta-relocation.php The cms only allows for basic html inside a basic editor so the basic parameters are preset in the css (I tyhink that's how it would be described). I can't change the way the photos appear and some of the layout of information, only what is in the content editor...I'll add the map today.

I agree with Steve, it doesn't need much.... just a couple of (nit-picky) suggestions:
Add a drop shadow to the photo to make it stand out a bit more, or a thin border. The listing price and info is too close to the anchor pic. Add a little more room. For out of the area buyer, add the city to the address. Pick a different color for the list price, since red can have a negative annotation, such as error... maybe just black and bold will do. Also, it would be nice to see one or two pics of the street/neighborhood view. One last thing, I would make each photo clickable and load a larger version. But those are really just small tweaks, Ryan. Hope it helps.

Ahhhh Borino,
All excellent advice. Let's see - I added the city to the address I'll need a work order for the color of the price, font and spacing...but worth it I think... Clicking on larger pictures - I will look into. I don't have full access to all of the nitty gritty stuff. Thanks for the advice. No better place on the web than REW for this kind of thing.

Hey Ryan, I think it looks great , one thing I noticed when I hit the back to listings link it doesn't do anything. I might also change the appointment link to go to a form that has the mls # and info already filled in instead of opening your email program.

Back to listings - I'll get that check out. We definitely need that to work.
I'm pretty sure I can't add a form the way it's set up. I asked and I believe that's what I was told so I thought I would go this route. I will look into that because I think it's a little week as well. Thanks for the input.

Thanks Ken. I fixed the contact form...I have to say though; I do everything possible to avoid virtual tours...It's a long story and even though buyers like them, I think they are bad for sellers. If a buyer sees one thing they don't like, they just move on to other properties and you never have a chance to overcome their objections.

Ryan, it's a nice page. Your text is well written.
Very minor: I'd update the copyright date in the footer from 2006 to 2007. Are the photos in the flash banner photos of this property? If so, you might want to indicate this below the banner (maybe in a small font). I ask because so many real estate web sites display photos of different properties on the same page. I never trust that I'm seeing photos of the house I'm viewing. I believe the "<< Bank to Listing" link isn't working because you're using javascript: javascript:history.go(-1); If I arrive from off site, there's no site history for me to go(-1) to. If this is a landing page, you'll want to fix the "<< Bank to Listing" link so that it's coded for a specific page on your site. The page is beautiful, Ryan. I especially like the blue gradiants.
