Where Blog Viewers Are Coming From??

Is there any way of telling where REW Blog Viewers are coming from? I mean is there any tracking that will tell me how many views, Where they clicked in from and all that good stuff. I am more thinking of the static pages I have created but would be interesting for regular blogs as well.

Please help, Please Please?

I have Google analytics, but obviously those stats would be private. You can of course see the unique pageviews on each blog (At the bottom)

for the static pages is there the possibility of the blog owner putting something like google analytics on it? I am curious becouse one of the static page has reached good placement for several good searches.

Ummm...as Morgan was trying to say, it is a bit hard to do. Analytics programs like GA look at the domain as a whole...which is private and precious stuff to the owners of the domains.

You can see how many people are viewing a given article right now...my own REW blog ranks well for several terms. The way I found out that it was doing well was that customers called one of the agents mentioned in my blog about her condos...best empirical evidence you need IMO.

If you are concerned about which search terms are bringing traffic, there are some easier way to tell that as well--different subject IMO.

Well, I was more curious than anything else. If you look at my blogs you will see that I have setup 4 static blog pages one of which has reached #5 for the town is it focused on for several search terms actually. 2 of the others are page 2 and page 3 but i have not put as much effort into them yet and they are more competitive towns mainly becouse there are towns in other states which have the same name and realtors from there want them.

Anyway I was more so interested in knowing what the traffic was going to those static pages and what the break down for them was. If someone at REW in private even wanted to tell me that I would be happy with that, and of course keep it to myself.

You can insert a pixel on every post/page and track it with your own analytics...

Jim,

I have 2 listings directly from blogs....One came from something I wrote titles "search for homes by school district" and another was a quite frank rant about removing wallpaper before you list.

I have noticed a couple of things:

Stats are good and people may read them....
Opinions work great in blogs - better than stats.
Natural streams of thought about a topic seem to resonate the most and best when I write about something I believe in.

This is just my experience...
