Death of a Real Estate investor.
I have found in my 20+ phone calls a week from "investors" and my 3-5 face to face meetings. That there are not very many real investors. Most are broke with bad credit and no clue about repairs or real estate. I hear them with the same speech, "I buy @ __% of A.R.V." or "I can get you a ton of deals @ __% of A.R.V." but after alot of lip service (we call it B.S. in Texas) You find that they not only have no clue what a real deal looks, taste, or even smells like that I just wasted alot of my time. I love learning and expanding my network. But I feel like the ,"diet pill vs working out and eating right" mentality has taken over the business world. I am here to tell everyone you have been mislead. This is not a part time job. Investing is work. Just like anything that you want to be exceptional at doing. If your business plan is not working then I doubt you fully researched each aspect and then not only wrote it down. But then followed through. Success is a journey not an event. (once an event happens you must plan out and work towards that short term plan in order to make "success" happen. But on a journey if you map out your route you should never have to start over to keep achieving success.) Real Estate investment is a risky and time consuming way to make money. But if you use Time, Energy, Imagination and Information to the fullest you will succeed. But that is true with everything. Just remember that time is not money it is so much more important. If you don't believe me ask any millionaire investor on his death bed.
