I'm thinking of creating a static page on my blog to advertise open houses. My question will be whether or not I can change out content often on this page to reflect the listing I will be holding open and still keep the page ranking. It will require a little SEO to get it to number one for "Atlanta open houses", but, could be a great tool for additional exposure for listings.

Any thought on this?

Personally, I think it is a good idea! (wish I'd thought of it.)

Much of the strength of the REW blog is due to the authority packed up in the domain. I think properly done, having an open houses static page that you edit just for the open houses for each week would work just fine SEO wise.

Changing the text each week somewhat wouldn't hurt at all IMO. Cost for trying it out? $0 (just a little time).

Pretty good return potential IMO.

Or you could do an "Open Houses" category and add a post each week with this week's open houses and what's appealling about them....

Many ways to play this IMO.

That's a good idea. I will give it some thought today and get something up. I think maybe a category would be better as you can grow the content within one category over time.

I wonder which one would have better results in rankings to benefit sellers. I'm thinking a category.....Plus you have another outlet for all of your listings because they could scroll through and find them...
