Static Pages
A while back, I set out to create a few static pages on my REW blog and I have been reinspired by all of the probing about them that Jim has been doing and so I've gone back and tried to freshen one of them up. Take a look and let me know what you think of my Alpharetta page. I will add some content tonight, but, what do you think of the layout?

Ryan -
By static pages you mean the "user pages", right? If so, I like the Sandy Springs one the best. Maybe its just the photos, I don't know. On the Sandy Springs page are you going after builders to list homes with you? If so, this is a little out of the ordinary but I like it. Where did you get that cool logo from? I don't know how you find the time to do all that you do. Do you even sell real estate?

Ryan, I like the button you did for the MLS link very much. Can you change the size of it, or the colors of it at all? The rest of the update looks real good as well.

I really like what you are doing.
How do you access that? Thru CMS? I have a link to Active Rain, but should consider switching back to REW, after seeing the post about how we rank better.

Ahhhh...It's part of the beauty of REW blogs. You can add pages, like a website. Customize meta descriptions and tags....add photos whatever. Access is through a wysiwyg editor w/ html mode if you like.
BTW, I stand by what I said over there that it's good to have both. I need to add some new content to those pages, but, I just got a contact form from one that passed over to my website just about an hour ago. So, they are effective. I'm not sure it looks good enough to the average real estate consumer yet, but, I am going to get the Alpharetta page finished and then go back to freshen up the rest....If you don't have an REW blog, you really should get one. I receive some sort of contact at least once a week and I have a closing the 29th from a blog post. It was a listing and she's buying. They really are effective...

I was thinking Keller Williams Red, and like 50% bigger for the button/link. Make it so obvious that a consumer could not miss it. Can't be so big as to not fit on the REW blog though.

ok that is cool, I am kind of using the same color theam on my static pages as you are, It just looks so good.
On I just did my latest listing blog, Maplewood, how do you think I could improve it so that it looks more slick. Thanks, Jim
