Anyone have experience with Drupal? I looks like it has tremendous potential!

Will be interested in seeing this thread develop because the software sounds intriguing from the simplicity and versatility it offers .... plus love the price!

I consider myself pretty savvy with technology, and Drupal didn't excite me at all. It wasn't user-friendly to me.

I tried to install phpwebsite, but couldn't! At least I was able to get Drupal installed. But now, I'm confused about how actually build a site with it.

Drupal is a good CMS. Also take a look at Joomla. Here's a comparison:

Joomla for the win! Drupal is nice, but Joomla is better - 1.5 is sweet, maybe one day it will even get out of beta.

I'm a fan of self-installed Wordpress myself - VERY easy to set up, and customizable whether you're a programmer or not (although you're limited to templates if you can't code.)
