Hi Joe,

I like it, though when I first loaded it, I kept waiting for the top part of the screen to populate. Then I realized it was supposed to be white. Just kind of gives me a unfinished feel.

I did not see any metas what is the site optimized for??

Jim

I can see what Jim is saying, I think you could use space more efficiently and maybe tighten things up vertically. The center portion with the graphic could be a bit smaller so you would see the pic and text below it without having to scroll down.

Also, is there a particular reason why you dont /-reference all the links? I see a lot of "../../". And like Jim mentioned, meta tags should be completed.

I do like the color combinations though!

I don't know... I kind of liked the top part. I like the entire design, actually. Very classy.

Thanks for the input!

I'm not sure what the "white" is that you saw...there may be a delay in some portions showing up since they get called from foreign servers.

As for the meta tags, are any search engines still giving any weight to keywords? I was under the impression they only carried weight in years gone by. Its my understanding that google care nothing for them and focuses on actual page content instead.

As far as what the site is optimized for, getting started, its the phrase "avalon, nj oceanfront", in which in only a couple weeks its in the google top 10!

Joe

One small thing, you may want the consider changing Featured Sales to Featured Homes. Sales gives the impression that the homes are no longer available.

I like the look and feel of the site.

Hi Joseph,
I actually really like your site as well and just have one suggestion. The only call to action I can see right of the bat on the front page for your idx is a link that says, "Click Here".

I would simplify the text under the image and make it more apparent as to where that link takes you. By doing so I think you will be able to drive more traffic to your IDX, which I see is also very nice.

Good job though; looks very nice.

Looks pretty good. For my tastes, I would drop the cents (.00) on the listing sales prices. Nice site.

I have a feeling he was talking about the Tan/scribe coloured part.
