Default Selling your house-market predictions

I work for sellhomehouse.com , and we have noticed a large increase in the number of extremely motivated sellers out there because of how many houses are actually on the market...these sellers are even turning to alternative methods to sell their house, just to get out from under it. My question is, how much longer do you think it will be a buyer's market? When will the market turn around?

It is not slow everywhere - our market in Austin, TX is setting new records right now. Other areas are still doing fine too. The national media talks about a meltdown, but they are really referring to a handful of markets that had the huge gains a couple of years ago. That was just real estate speculation and was not going to last forever.

largely, it will be a buyer's market for a long time but depending on location, it can be a sellers market; some places are more in demand than others.
