Yesterday I passed my test. My husband had to take it a few times so it was quite a shock for me when i passed all the studying paid off

Congrats...
Is this the Real Estate Agency test that you guys have over in the States? In the UK, literally, anyone can become an RE Agent. Do you think this test helps the potential buyers/sellers? I think it may be a good idea if they started a similar policy over here too. |

Congratulations on passing. When I took mine back in 1983 I was 8 1/2 mo. pregnant & could barely fit in the child size desks where the seat is attached to the desk. Plus my son was kicking & moving the entire time & I was so uncomfortable I wasn't sure if I had passed or not. And we had to woait back then for the results.
justicewhite - Although I'm all for the testing & continuing education, the license tests really are technical questions that don't really help you in your day to day real estate business. I mean, I'm glad they make people study & take the tests & expect a passing grade, but I don't know if I've used much in my career that was on that test. And for the really technical questions I'm sure I've forgotten a lot of it. We take such an easy at home training course for our continuing education & the test is so simple (although they were forced to make it a little more difficult this time around as it was ridiculous), that I don't think they let anyone fail (the particular company that sponsors the CE that we take in our office). Not everyone uses this company & I can't figure out why. It does force us to read over laws & everything to refresh our memories, but it's so simple it's a joke.
