My god. If it ever gets like that where I am, I'm moving to the Arctic.

For someone who hasn't experienced that kind of heat it's pretty much like a punch in the face. We've been hovering between 105-110 for the last week or so and the heat just tends to suck the energy out of you.
I feel bad for you guys who have the humidity in addition to the heat. bleh!

A couple years ago, my family and I went on a road trip to California. We didn't get out of the vehicle until we hit California. The entire way down we had our AC on; it was excellent. As soon as we stepped out of the vehicle, we were gasping for air.
I'm a pretty big wimp when it comes to heat.. I like the winter I couldn't imagine being in Vegas right now.

(117 degrees F (47 C) though!? ...I bet not! ) But I gotta say, those humid days are the worst! I can handle heat, but wet heat is just gross. I'm happy to say me and my bf have a great air conditioner in our bedroom so we have been avoiding those sticky, sweaty summer nights. (The ones where you cannot let anything touch your body and your sprawled out as much as possible so that no body parts can possibly touch... ...ew)Its the same here (Nanaimo) in the winter, Even though temperature wise, its not THAT cold. It just feel sooo much worse because of how wet it is. It really seems to sink into your bones here whether its hot or cold. |

I went to a couple Diamondbacks/Dodgers game in Phoenix last summer. We walked out of the stadium at 10pm and it was still 115 degrees. It was brutal. To me that was more miserable than 90 with humidity. It actually burned.
