Hello all,

I'm new to this site as of today and I'm very interested in learning as much as I can. I'm interested in buying a foreclosure or a Tax default home within the next year or so. I've already found several site, like the National sellers list and well as some list on police seizures and HUD homes (which really didn't help me), but these tend to list on a national level and therefore have few listings in my area. I want to know how to find a list of homes that have been taken by the government on a more local level- state or county. Also I was wondering what the catch is in buying on of these homes. I know I could probably just pay for some website a find all of these listings, but I figure if they can find them so can I, I just need to find the right place to look ^_^
