Hi Al Rosson and welcome

Your home page is way too big.
The last 67k won't even get into Google.
I try to follow the advice of the experts, keep it down to a minimum. Is 10k possible ?
20k maximum.

Google crawls your "whole" page, no matter how big it is. They will only use the first 101k in their database for rank purposes, and possibly more for more "expert sites"

I can't find the original post either!

It is possible to keep your homepage down to around 10k, mine is around 10-11k, but you need to use CSS and limit the use of tables. My first effort was 40K then 29K, now using CSS it's around 10-11k. If I put the CSS in a seperate file it would even less.

It doesn't matter too much about page size for search engines sake, but it will save you bandwidth.

There are some stories saying CSS is better for search engines, but mainly because you can use keywords to label sections of the page.

CSS is great for putting code right where you want it. This is can be especially helpful with the Search Engines.

I'm in the process of giving my ResaleBroker site a CSS face lift.
