Hello!
With all of your help, the site I'm working on is shall I say, kicking ass in google for a few of the keyword phrases I'm tracking. However, in MSN, not doing too hot! With MSN's wanting to become a big dog in the se world I expect they're going to become very relevant. So, does anybody have any general advice on how to make msn happy or is it a wait and see what happens with their new search technology? |

I used to rank at #1 or 2 for everything on MSN, but now I only do well on "homes" terms (as opposed to "real estate"). I have no idea what they value anymore. I get a ton of traffic from Google, so I guess I don't really care all that much, but it does make me curious. I would love to hear some ideas as well.

First time I've even bothered to check MSN in a long while. I wasn't even listed on there, now I'm in the top 3 for most of my keywords.

I wouldn't really mind doing better on MSN the more I think about it. I do get a good amount of traffic to some of our internal page content (info on restaurants, weather, traffic in the area, etc.).

I still consider MSN, if only because I know that it is still (I think) in third place overall, albeit a distant third. Beyond Google, Yahoo, and MSN, I don't consider any others.

Don't worry about trying to optimize your site for MSN. If that can even be done. They have no where near the market share as Google and probably never will.

I havnt looked at MSN in a long time. I noticed yahoo realestate is doing pretty well in MSN. I have noticed alot of sites pop up in MSN and dissappear I wonder if that will happen with yahoo as well.

It almost looks like msn copies google, except in reverse. In my market, most of the top dogs in g don't show up in msn.
I tried to get in the msn directory, not sure if I ever succeeded, and the only way I could find it was with google. They couldn't even find their own directory.
