Hi,
I'm wondering how the community views virtual tours from a couple of perspectives. If you have time to respond, I'd appreciate the feedback. Question 1: How interested would you be in this type of a virtual tour capability: --Equivalent price (or likely less expensive) than most of the competitors --Provides 2 business day turnaround --Consists of a slide show of your digital photos, and a professionally written and produced audio script describing the features of the home. --Could be purchased for a one-time use, or on a monthly contract. A-Very Interested B-Somewhat Interested C-Not Interested Question 2: Do you think that a virtual tour with a spoken description would be more effective than a virtual tour with only photos or 360 views? Yes/No Thanks for your help! Kathleen

Thanks, Justicewhite.
Any others? Any perspectives on virtual tours? Do you use them? Why/why not? Are your customers impressed with a virtual tour? Do you think its an effective home marketing tool? K

Q1=B I'm not really that interested as our area sells too quickly right now to invest in anything extra. A correctly priced property can literally sell in one day. In many cases with our office & others, the property is sold before it makes it to the MLS. Maybe in a different market or if I worked in more upscale areas I'd be interested.
Q2=No

Now that I think about it (along with Judyo's comments) I think a very nice Video/Commercial for an upscale home would be nice. For instance, if you made a narative video walking through the home showing them everything and more and put it into several flash movies to keep it streaming at low file sizes to the end user, it might be a good idea. - Just make sure they know what they are clicking before they get into it... and by all means dont allow the video to just pop up in front of them out of nowhere....lol

Yea, San Diego, I hate those unruly videos myself!
![]() Thanks for the feedback. So, the idea I'm getting is that virtual tours would need to be promoted to upscale areas where the homes take a while to sell. That makes sense. Also interesting that the multi-media aspect of sound and pictures doesn't seem to be ringing any bells. Judy - the market you're in must be great for the listing agents, but I bet it plays havoc with the buyer rep, huh? Everytime they think they've found the right home for someone, its sold already! Kind of a good news/bad news market. Thanks again for the input. All other ideas welcome! Kathleen
