Hi i have a question. A friend of mine wants to get into real estate and become an agent to sell. Unfortunately some state laws prevent one from being licensed if one has a criminal background. EX: One who has been convicted of a felony such as arm robbery that was 12-13 years ago with time served. Is there a way that this person can get a license in real estates as a seller. If any one has any comments please leave feedback.

The answer will vary state by state, what state do you want to know about??

One could expect a correctional facility to correct a persons socially unaccepted actions, yet the RE commis might see things differently...
