Hi,

I'm looking at going with a web provider that includes 100 "qualified visitors" to my site a month, they claim that an average of 15 of those will become leads, and the conversion rate is then up to me (obviously) This sounded great until a friend of mine said a 100 clicks on any site is peanuts and that I would need to get way more than that to generate 15 leads!
I'm confused as I want to get into internet marketing but it seems that every time I turn around some piece of "information" is not consistant with the next.
Does anyone have any well optimized site that's getting traffic and do they have any stats on visitors-leads-sales, or could refer a seperate site that could help me with that info?
The name of the web provider is promoteronline and this offer is in conjuntion with the coaching institute - the premium package is $199 per month for the site, it includes the 100 visitors, plus the hosting of $30 per month. These hits are from the paid listings not the "organic results"

I think it sounds like throwing money away on something you can do yourself.

Run fast from this one. Just build a good website and learn some seo and try some ppc. Everything you need to know is right here!! Most if not all of them companies promise more than they can deliver and getting out of some of these deals is not easy! Good luck!

Before you do anything like what you're asking about, spend a few days going through this forum. Read from some of the 100's of posts you'll find here about being on the web. You will get quite an eye opening education. My guess is you'll run away from it all on your own.

Anybody that promises certain levels of 'traffic', 'leads', or 'clicks' usually is somebody to walk away from. The internet just doesn't work that way.

Here here. I trip in line with the rest of the crowd. I wish I had stumbled across this forum before I made some marketing investment errors. Wow, how I wish I had that money back to invest in competent advice and guidance instead of paying for someone to try (in vain) to bring me leads.

sounds like you are getting ripped off. I get more than that in a day. I would say my ratio visitor/lead is 1% You should talk to Morgan with Real estate webmasters, they can hook you up. I pay little bit more than what you were quoted but I get 3,800 visitors a month all of which are organic, and my site is not even at its full potential. They say it takes a year and a half. I have been with them for a few months.
