Anyone ever do something really stupid when it comes to SEO? I found out I just did a few weeks ago. One of my websites dropped out of Yahoo and MSN completely after being in the top 5 for a bunch of search terms. At first I thought I must have linked to a banned site or something. After a while I realized I accidently put NOFOLLOW and NOINDEX tags on the index page. Luckily for me once I fixed it, a few weeks later I got back up top....

Anybody else have any stories of their I.D.I.O.T Errors?

LOL.. That was funny! I guess you'd have to keep an eye on that kind of stuff. Every once in a while i accidently overwrite a page from a different computer i use and have to go back tot eh other computer to upload the correct one again before editting it.... (dreamweaver on two machines can be interesting if you don't learn to download the most recent page before editting it)
