Over a month ago I changed over to REW. For some reason I can't get my community pages to rank on google and most aren't THAT competitive. Alot of these same pages are already ranking well on yahoo and msn (many st page).
For example this page http://www.charlottencbuyersagent.com/weddington.php is indexed and cached on Aug 29th. Although, when copy and pasted into google it doesn't match any results (not found) Using this command.... site:www.charlottencbuyersagent.com/weddington.php it return a result?? I've added some juice to quite afew of these pages but it hasn't helped. I've tried both of these commands site:www.mysite.com/*and site:www.mysite.com/& and they don't appear to be accurate. My home page ends up showing up in both commands meaning it would be both supplemental and non-supplemental. What is it I'm not understanding here? Last edited by u2man; 09-02-2007 at 09:15 AM. you do have a problem if it doesn't show up on a url search, give it a few more days, it could be something to do with different datacenters.

I changed over to a REW template about 2 months ago and just this past week my traffic is coming back to what it was before the change.
I guess it takes a while for G to sort out your new site and figure out what ranks for what. If my experience is any guide, you may just have to wait it out.

Just wait few days more. G is sometime lazy on re-indexing new designed pages.

Are the url's for the community pages the same ones that you had up previously... if not have you 301's in place to redirect the old url's or are they entirely new pages?
If they're new pages or the url's are different you're going to have to be patient. If the url's haven't changed you should see your self in the same place as you were and will improve with link strength and trust in time.

site:www.charlottencbuyersagent.com/weddington.php is not an appropriate operator. That will only work with Root URL's that is why you aren't seeing results
What you could do is site:www.charlottencbuyersagent.com "weddington" that should show you the page.

I too am experiencing a drop, I know about two weeks ago I was ranking well for "SouthPark, NC", "Weddington Chase, NC" (this was #5, about a week ago, a realestateshows .com slideshow, but has dropped off the face of earth!) and others, and now I do not see them. My vistors have dropped to half in the last month too. Seems like something is going on!

Thanks for the replies and getting me straight on the appropriate operators. Looks like some pages are in and ranking and some are not....guess I need to give it some more time and add some juice to these pages.
