Default MSN's Sandbox??

A little while back when Beta just came out I didnt notice MSN having any type of sandbox effects. Now it's a different story!!

I'm noticing Sandbox effects on newly cached domains and even sandbox effects on newly cached pages within long time cached well ranking domains.

I'm not 100% sure on the long time well ranking domains becuase I tried it on one of my really good rankings sites but I also did kind of choose a somewhat competative keyword.

Has anyone tested this or has anyone seen anything like this happen in MSN?

i really don't think they have a sandbox, a page will rank as long as it has enough links pointing to it..

I really don't check the MSN results anymore... They never seemed to have ANY sandbox.. it was plug n play in the past, the newer the better! Maybe it has changed but... it doesn't really matter for our traffic!!

I don't think there is any "Sandbox" with MSN either. MSN seems to be more content driven as long as you have some links to the page.

I agree - as far as I know, no sandbox penalty with MSN. From what I've experienced, keyword density is most important for MSN. That's why you get pages with almost no content at the top of the results. I was able to take top spot easily by putting in a page with an I-Frame and keeping my title tag and NOFRAMES section small. But then I decided optimizing for MSN wasn't the best business decision.

Yea MSN sux. I dont think MSN has a sandbox either. I have seen a seen domains in rankings pretty quick. It is definitely ranking based on content.

funny. MSN knocked me down to 0 for 'search engine saturation' on Marketleap.com. (for whatever that is worth). I have no idea if that matters. I guess not.

I have heard of this but it seems to be a myth. I don't think they have a sandbox
