My custom IDX went up a few weeks ago www.oaklandhomespecialist.com/idx , but not a single details page has been indexed yet. The pages have unique title and description tags, and I have installed snippets on many pages.

I've been told that maybe I don't have enough PR yet to get the pages indexed, but I've recently added about 100 pages on my own and they were all indexed pretty quickly. My site is pR3 and #6 for "Oakland real estate". So I'm trying to figure out what I need to do to get at least some of these pages indexed. Any thoughts anyone?

To see if others in my area have idx pages indexed I did a search on one sentence from the remarks for a listing. I put it in quotes to see if it turns up anywhere in google, and it didnt. Does this mean there isnt anyone in my mls who has a spiderable IDX? If so, shouldnt that make it easier for me to get mine spidered?

My suggestion is to build some links from other websites directly to the area pages that you have snippets on (Which is a good idea anyways) for instance building links to http://www.oaklandhomespecialist.com...mont-homes.php

With anchor text "Claremont Real Estate" "Claremont homes" etc

I do have several one way links pointing to these pages, these pages are indexed and ranking on the first page mostly for their terms. However the details pages still arent getting spidered.

For example: http://www.oaklandhomespecialist.com...park-homes.php is #1 for "Maxwell Park Homes" http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...ell+Park+homes yet the details pages aren't getting spidered.

It may take a while for those pages to show for a site: query also. It took almost 2 months before I saw any of my idx pages show up.

It's worth it though, as occasionally I'll get search hits for an mls # or even '$750,000 evans real estate' - you'd be amazed how people will get an idx page to show up for a search query.

It certainly does take time - especially if you have a lot of other stuff going on (static pages, blog pages, content pages etc) Google will only spider so deep each pass (Which does increase with authority) so in terms of focus just great quality links, developing high quality content that will generate even more natural links etc

I created an xml sitemap and submitted it to Google. A few weeks later, all my IDX pages were indexed.

Cool, I see you have over 30k indexed! Nice job. I do need to do that, I did submit one but that was before my IDX went up. I guess I need to submit another one.
