I really don't know outside of the bounds of G. I know that they will auto add derivatives of keywords where they makes sense. In the end, G is the onlything you need to optimize for. The rest will follow.

Actually you are not quite accurate guys - Capitolization DOES make a difference in many cases

When it comes to state abbreviations, it makes a difference, and some other select cases.

But for the most part, it is not a big deal.

I doubt they would capitalize state abbreviations in a search query.

I do all the time. I think it all depends on how anal you are. About that kind of stuff, I'm pretty knit picky - if that's even a term.
