RMLS now allows 16 pics, up from 8

RMLS now allows 16 pictures for each listing, up from 8. What will it take to make this change in my IDX.

Hi Dennis,

I've changed the download script to download all sixteen images - so that should take care of itself

- only thing left now is to find a place to put them on your details pages. I guess that just adding another row of thumbnails below the main image on the details page would work. And I don't see it taking more than 15-30 mins to add in some code to make them display there.

OK Aaron, lets do it. Now since these pictures should be updated daily, am I right to assume any listings that currently have more than 8 will be updated automatically.

Below is the Notice to us from RMLS, so these parameters would be required here:

RMLS™ recently upgraded RMLSweb’s photo capabilities. You can now load up to 16 photos per listing and load images with sizes up to 2.5 MB! The images that you add will also be saved at a higher resolution (640x480). Further, on reports that allow you to scroll through the images, you can now click on each image and open a popup window that displays larger versions of each photo.

That's what I am hoping

I coded the image download script to download all the images from RMLS's FTP server - so it should download all the listing images that the agent uploads.

I'll do a full pull to make sure we've got all that they have. I am not sure why the script would break - it was working for a few months - they must have changed something.
Seems like it's mostly the new listings that appear to be missing photos...?

The photos seem to all be there now - back to this

We could do add Thick box style to the images - so that when you click the image - it brings up the larger image in another window. I'll see if I can find a good example to show you .

I think I will wait a while to do the picture thing, I have other things I would rather do first.

Does this upgrading ever end?
