ok....i was in a game room and a lady there was wondering if $1,000.00 a month for a 3 bedroom house with double attached garage and 2 bathrooms was a good price for rent....she didn't know if it was a one or two story house and don't know if it has a full basement or not...this is all the info she gave me except that the house is located in folsom, california...her husband is being transferred to travis air force base sometime this year...any info that you could give me would be greatly appreciated as i told her i would email her the info....

doesnt seem to bad to me, for california, but really depends on the shape of the house and the area. Really the only person who could answer correctly is someone from the neighborhood. Why not tell her to call the local rental agency and enquire about homes in the immediate vicinity with similar ammenities?

She can also do some online searching for rental houses in the area. That would give her a broad range of comparables.
