Link Exchange for new real estate site

Hi Guys,

I 'm a newbie to link exchanging and am having a slight problem. I have just built a new real estate site for the mediteranean island of Cyprus and am now trying to build some backlinks. I have approached various real estate directories to exchange links with but have been met with the chicken and the egg scenario.
To link to me sites want a PR4 ranking but how do I get a PR4 ranking without backlinks? I would be eternaly grateful for any advice on the subject. Thanks in advance, Cozzy

Here are a few ideas:

Start a thread in our Real Estate Link Exchange. Many members here do not require PR for exchanging links.
Include a link to your site in your signature here at REW.
Submit to Directories that do not have PR requirements.

That should help get you started in the right direction.

Hi,

I do not require any PR for a link exchange, but I do require the home page be cached by Google. This tells me that odds are the site has not been banned or has other troubles.

I see your site has not been cached yet. You stated that is was new, but have you submitted it to Google yet?

There is no need to submit as G will find it once there are some links pointing to it. It will only be a matter of time now that his sig has a link to the site.

I agree that it is a lot smarter to link with a page that has been cached so you know that there aren't any problems.
