Default Information about users

I'm not sure I saw a specific thread for this so I thought I would shoot out some ideas that would be useful for clients trying to view infomration about registrants. Her are some things that I think are must haves some may already be included, but, I'm just trying to get a list in one place (in case I missed it elswhere).

Saved searches - I think we should be able to view a users saved search as well as the parameters of that search.

Favorite Listings - We should be able to view all of the listings.

Login History - Helpful to know if someone is still using the system.

Turn registration on/off

Turn autoresponder on/off

Anything Else?

Plus: Add/Modify/Delete saved searches, including changing email alert frequency. Should also be able to see saved search email alert history with summary of number of listings sent on a specific date, and with link to a separate "alert history details" page with a line of 5-6 key items of property summary info for each one send in that alert: MLS#, address, city, list price, sq ft, bed/bath counts. Link to property details page from MLS# on each property summary line.

Favorite Listings - We should be able to view all of the listings.
Plus: Save recommended listings, such as any they may request showings for but did not save in their favorites. Agent recommended listings would be grouped separately in their Favorites list. And, store summary of saved listings activity in the lead's activity/notes log each time they save one, and when it is deleted.

Login History - Helpful to know if someone is still using the system.
I think last login date/time and total number of logins since original registration is adequate. I don't need to see every login instance.

Turn registration on/off
What I called "Archive" status in an earlier post/thread, where a particular lead is blocked from logging in? Or, do you mean a site owner global option that enables/disables the requirement that users register before being able to see property details?

Turn autoresponder on/off
Do you mean turn email drip campaigns on/off? To me, autoresponders are emails triggered in my email system when I receive an email from someone, not a lead management function.

Anything Else?
Comprehensive lead activity notes with date/time stamps:
- Admin / Agent lead assignment activities
- Lead priority / status change activities
- Agent entered notes by agent or admin (sent by agent/admin name, full text)
- Agent emails sent to lead from system (including full text)
- Assigned to / removed from drip email campaign
- Drip email sent by system: Campaign name, drip email title. Not email text.
- Property saved in Favorites: MLS#, property type, address, city, zip, list price, bed/bath count, finished sq ft. Link to property details page.
- Property deleted from Favorites
- New saved search saved: search name, expiration date, alert frequency
- Saved search deleted
- Lead unsubscribed from drip email campaign
- Lead unsubscribed from system (separate from drip email unsubscribe)
- Lead requests showing: MLS#, property address, city, zip, price, bed/bath counts, sq ft. Link to property details page.
- Lead requests additional info: same property info as showing request.
- Lead logins, login attempts? Could be lots of entries for some long term leads, but could be useful.

Obviously, activities related to saved searches, favorites, showing requests etc. would require and be integrated with REW IDX. However, REW IDX should not be required for most lead management activities (or should it?).

This is how Prudential handles leads (except for the registration and autoresponder part, although that would be cool). They are affiliated with Yahoo Real Estate, so leads from Yahoo get sent to Pru agents. They use a program called Leadtrax to manage all the leads. They hired a Manager just for the team of agents who get these leads and they do trainings on how to convert. They claim that they (and Yahoo) have done a lot of research on how to best convert online leads, and they stress the importance of tracking leads so you know when/how to contact them based on what they are doing. We are able to see when they login, how long they stayed, what properties they are looking at and more. It's VERY useful in guaging the activity of a client. It allows you to send more personalized, specific emails based in their activity which I think helps conversion a ton.

And the ability to write notes about a specific lead is great too.

This is the type of comprehensive info I would ultimately want as well.

Agree with all of these requests and wanted to add another.

Within our MLS system, users we setup can save properties to their portfolio (or reject them which sends them to a rejection folder). They can also provide comments which we see on any of these properties. This type of functionality encourages interaction between agents and buyers and also helps us better undertstand their needs.

To augment this functionality, it might be neat to have a "Thumbs Up" / "Thumbs Down" type feature for any property search matches which IDX registrants could utilize (similar to TIVO). The idea would be to:
1) enable your customers to earmark and prioritizes their likes + dislikes using a thumbs-up/thumbs-down type scale (maybe a 5 pt scale with the ability to add comments),
2) enable us to see what they really like, like, hate, etc. with properties that match their general search criteria

The end result or goal being improved communication with IDX registrants as well as a better overall understanding of EXACTLY what someone is looking for.

Guys I need to make this very clear (And hopefully it doesn't dampen discussion) - Our lead management platform and our IDX platform (Although they will work together seamlessly) are completely independent platforms.

So things like "turn registration on or off" have nothing to do with Lead management, and are a function for IDX suggestions (Great suggestion btw) - but please post in the appropriate forum (In this case that suggestion would go into the REW IDX forum)

I am still looking for written documentation on the current IDX features - can you point me to someone or something?

(I need to see the standard feature set so I can determine what changes/customs I need......)

Thanks in advance - anyone...

There is no standard feature set outside of CORE, in your case, you have an extremely modified deployment, which isn't CORE to begin with as it is a custom build (At least that is what I gather from the project scope)

Anyways - I am certainly happy to discuss any of this with you here at the forum (In the REW IDX forum) - or if you would like to email me morgan @ realestatewebmasters.com with your questions, or schedule a call, any of those would be fine
