Default Suggestions on hiring management

My call center will only consider a team manager from strong references or promoted from within our call centers following an

extraordinary performance as an agent. Age or gender will not deter a promotion. We are interested in those that have shown

company loyalty, completely understand the metrics of the assigned work, the importance of reliable attendance and being

punctual. Leaders that own up to accountability will supervise the outsourcing campaign, period.

Our managers aim to increase self-esteem and contribute to an agent’s professional development. They are expected to reduce

the causes of burnout and eliminating attrition during a campaign by sincerely listening to all agents with an open mind.

Stress works in a strange way to motivate, like reverse psychology. We are aware that adversity is a challenge and should be

handled with grace and style. Every agent recognizes that our call center truly cares about them, which strengthens their

loyalty and commitment to your campaign.

I hope that helps.

Richard

Smuck,

Just trying to lend a helping hand.

Sometimes, people lose focus on what really is important when hiring and placing an individual in a very important position.

A good manager can make a huge difference to a company's bottom line. Especially in a tough real estate market. Burn out and frustration can break the best agents.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post and I wish you the best of luck.

Richard

So, just posting the same canned speech = helpful?

And you probably should put your link to your website in your signature rather than at the end of your posts. It goes in the same place where you currently have your phone number.

And you do realize that NO FOLLOW tags are put on your links, right - so you aren't getting link juice out of them.

And given the very nature of this forum, and the fact that it has some of the most technically savvy & influential persons on the web, posting a copy/paste promotional piece is more likely to create a bad name for yourself in a hurry than to generate any positive results for your company.

Nice Malok. I too thought RichardBlank's post seemed a bit self promotional!

Malok,

You have brought up a great point.

Not everyone reads all of the same forums. Instead of creating a brand new text for the same subject, I thought it might work to use the same content. I try to be in contact with as many people as possible when I have the time. I did not mean to offend nor insult anyone.

As you can see, I answer all posts and try to be helpful and encourage communication. I am not selling anything. I have received many contacts from people all over the world that are in need of good advice and motivation. I have gladly shared my experience free of charge.

Business is tough these days for many people. I hope that you have not taken my efforts the wrong way. I am going to take your advice and will take the time to write a brand new text for any future postings here and at other sites.

Thank you for reading "ALL" of my posts and making a suggestion.

Richard

Thank you Richard. We get an awful lot of spam and self-promotion here. It can be tiring separating the wheat from the chaff, they say.

A few tips I find helpful for forum members who don't want to appear self-promotional:
1) Only ask questions or for advice when starting a thread. If you are instead offering something, advice or otherwise in a thread, it can often be seen as self-promotional. Be patient with your threads. If people are not posting on them, they do not have any thoughts on the matter.
2) Answer threads on-topic. Even if someone else leads away from the original topic, do not lead into your expertise. This is very suspicious behaviour and looks like self-promotion.
3) Don't post in really old threads. If the community sees an old thread reopened with someone offering advice, this is very suspicious. If it has not been posted on in a long time, there is likely a good reason.
4) Start a blog. If you have helpful advice you would like to pass on, create a blog and post it there. Follow the directions provided when you get your REW blog account, don't refer people to your blog from the forums (unless it is on-topic), and keep the self-promotion out of the blog too. If people appreciate your advice in the blog, they will seek you out.

I like to think of this forum as one of those local business groups that gets together at a local hotel banquet room on Saturdays and talks about marketing and running their business. These groups generate business, but not in the traditional sense. You can't directly approach the other members and sell your wares; they won't want it. But, by showing an interest in learning and helping other businesses, you can make contacts and get referrals. And the most important part of those groups is learning how to run your business better. Think of Real Estate Webmasters that way.

Excellent post Reed! Perhaps a post that should be a "sticky" at the entrance of new threads.

The long and the short of it is, it is best to not offer advice or counsel until asked and/or credibility is established.
