Default How To Best Deal With Pagination? (Is that a word?)

Im trying to figure out how to deal with the idx pages in snippets. I know it's best to keep the number of listings on a page under 25 or so, but of there are more than 25, then the next pages end up with the same title and description tags.

When I added my first snippets to my area pages, they all dropped out of the serps, and when I changed it to make ALL the listngs for the snippet search come up on ONE page then all the pages that had the snippets on them came back in the serps to where they were. So this tells me that those dup title's and description were obviously a problem. I can't do it the easy way, so I was thinking I need to make more snippets for the price ranges within each area, but there will still be overlap somewhere and it doesn't seem like the best way.

Any ideas on how to keep the number of listings on a page to 25 or under and not have pagination?

Also, is it possible to have a script that would change the title and description tag for each subsequent paginated page for a snippet search? Like maybe add a "page two" or something to make them unique?

Programatically, we could make it so that pagination did not occur and it only showed 25 max or something. Could add "Page 2" as well
