Need some help on what to do. I have a real estate marketing tool I want to advertise. I can buy a mailing list of 1.5 million realtors that includes email addresses and snail mail addresses for $500.00.
I have read the spam laws, and the email campaign would be in compliance, but after talking to a couple email marketers I get opposite opinions:
"You will get marked as spam and black listed no matter what you do"
-or-
"You will be fine and get many responses"
It would cost more, but I am leaning towards a mail out rather than an email campaign. It just seems to vague about what the spam rules are and I don't want to get fined.
--Questions:
Has anyone had success at doing email campaigns without getting black listed?
Is it the nature of the beast, that with an email campaign you would get some black list response?
Is it better to just do a mail campaign and avoid the mess all together?
Let me know what you think.
