I would like more information regarding a property

Any suggestions for options other than "I would like more information regarding a property" on our website forms?

This question is so very vague and yet I have to answer it 15 times a day...
I'm thinking of adding check boxes with options such as:
How much are the taxes?
What is the community like?
Hows the fishing...
How far from the beach

What's more frustrating is when you get these and email them something back and then you never again here from them...

I think that would be a good idea to try to figure out what kind of info they want:

Taxes
More Photos
...
What's the community like. How do you answer that?

I think it depends on how much info you have listed on your details pages. The one I get often is how long has it been listed?

Are you thinking about this as a replacement for "More Information" or as additional invitations for them to contact you...

Schools would be one in my opinion...

I think no matter what you do, you are still going to get a good amount these. I think it is just part of the game.

That being said, I always get how long has it been on the market.

They will end up clicking all of the boxes and then you will have to answer everyone of the questions or risk looking unprofessional. The generic question should get a generic answer with a question/s attached. This opens the door to ongoing communication which is the ultimate goal.

Mike I went to your beach condos site, are you referring to the 'inquire' button after details is displayed?

Question: Is your idx or what ever you use, a custom or generic from your mls?

Reason I ask is... how about new pages with community information for your listing areas answering those questions? You could direct the listing to the neighborhood write up. Now of course this may have the same results as 'fliers' have in our area, no reason to inquire if all the information is there.

Just a thought.

It is Aaron. I was just pointing out that Fliers in our area, while every darn seller wants em, are a waste of time, money and effort.

The fliers have information that I want leads to contact us about normally, but since the info is in the flier, there's no reason for the lead to contact us.

We no longer produce fliers anyway, although many of our competitors still do.

I was thinking that perhaps the same thing may occur with too much information on a website about a given property or neighborhodd etc.

I don't know if you can ever have too much information as long as WE are the ones supplying it and they come to US when they are ready to buy.

Imagine 100% educated buyers lining up to write offers on the homes they found on your website. This weekend felt that way. They did their shopping on my site, found a few to look at and then wrote offers.
