Is anyone familiar with this company and there seminar "The Main Event"? Is it worth it?

I attended a FREE 1/2 day seminar that was very worthwhile called "By Referral Only". The purpose of the seminar is to give you enough morsels and motivation to sign up for a 3 day seminar (only $400) to learn about their systems. I was hoping someone on this forum may have attended The Main Event and have some feedback. This is the group responsible for the "Ugly Yellow Signs".

I have been very busy but feel I need to be more systemized. Any suggestions?

When my wife was a trainer they were on the approved list.

I can't tell you if it is worth the money or not since we never paid for it or even had the chance to attend one of the free seminars -- they have a monthly newsletter that you can subscribe to for free I believe.

They certainly have better ideas then recipe cards and for the people that I know that did pay, they did not complain about it being a waste of money.

Google it and past the actual company you'll see a list of agents that use the "By Referral Only" slogan in their website advertising.

Years ago I went to a one day seminar by Joe Stumpf - founder of BRO.
Not bad, focused solely on generating referral business by using mail (postcards drip) and follow up to past clients.

I can't find my books and paperwork but I started with the ugly yellow sign guy named Terry something many years ago. He ended up partnering with the people at The Main Event/By Referral Only and I didn't hear much about him after that.

He had some great marketing ideas and systems and a lot of it was direct response marketing, much of which I think has been overdone now. But he introduced me to the 24 hour hotlines and Talking House and newsletters and a lot of stuff. I'm on the e-mail list for By Referral Only and they keep sending success stories to get me to join up.
