Default Liens

Liens represent a town’s legal interest in real estate, meaning property can be seized via foreclosure if the taxes remain unpaid. Am I right? Anyone specialist in this?

Default Re: Liens

I've written a few articles on tax liens and deeds (never made it to Eric's library )

The answer to your question is yes, depending:
  • Not all tax authorities foreclose - State laws
  • Not all tax authorities allow tax deed sales
  • Liens and Deeds are two different things
  • Homesteading also is a factor

Is there anything in particular you want to know?
