Default What kind of car do you drive?

Is it just me, or do most real estate agents drive Acuras?

Obviously, it's important for agents to have nice cars if they are driving clients around to view properties. But it seems like the semi-luxury car of choice for most real estate agents is an Acura. It's classy, has a comfortable ride, but it's not too expensive.

I wonder if any car companies specifically market to real estate agents.

I drive a 2007 jetta wolfsberg. Its good I fly under the radar. In my area if you drive too fancy of a car, clients judge you, they think you make to much money, or that your better than them. Thats why I chose my jetta, plus I bought a season pass to mt. backer, it does really well in the snow.

I think the Jetta is a really nice car actually - although not considered snooty - My Realtor (Ironically) had one a while ago, when his Jeep Cherokee was in the shop - very nice indeed.

Myself personally, I drive the new Chrysler 300 - I was one of the first in my area to have one, and I bought it because of it's cool new unique look, not because it's high end (It isn't)

Mercedes seem to be the car here on the Emerald Coast. I think 95% of the Realtors own one. In my area (unfortunately) realtors are judged by the care they drive. I live in more of a vacation destination, 2nd home area. BMW & Lexus are also popular. Me, I drive a 2006 Lexus.

I have a car for myself (2 corvettes - 92, 04) and one to take customers around in, a junky old (98) Chevy SUV. Actually I gave Jennifer the 92, but she never drives it.

I'm hoping to replace the suv next year with luck, probably with either another Chevy SUV or perhaps something less gas oriented, like the new Suzuki suv. Really haven't decided yet though.

I don't go for status' cars. I like cars fun to drive (corvette), and useful (suv).
