Default The house is finally ready. But.....

What do you do when a house takes a long time to get ready for market and the sellers wont adjust the price accordingly?

That all depends on how the house is priced compared to all of the other units in the area. As long as it is in-line within others that have recently sold you should be fine. If you don't have any other listings I'd take it and hold it for a while. If they had low ball offers would they drop their price?

On the other hand if it is ridiculously over priced I'd let some other Realtor stain their reputation with it. Listings on the market 6 months or longer do nothing but tarnish your reputation.

Well it has things the comps do not (ocean views). Looks like we will just have to see how it goes.
Thanks
