How many homes will you show in a day? is there a cut off point where you tell them they are crazy? "No I don't want to show you 40 homes today!"
Yesterday I took out three groups of people and looked at over 30 homes. Today should be a bit more laid back. One group, 5 homes. How often are you out showing homes? Me? About 4 days a week. This time of year only one group per day but during the summer two groups a day (or more) is not uncommon. Keeping track all of them can be confusing. I think I'm going to start sneaking a photo or two of the clients with my cell phone so I can put faces to all the names in my database.

Depends on the customer for us, local we try to do less than 5.
Sometimes our customers are only here for a few days. We try to keep the number of showings below 10 a day, but if they're on a tight schedule and anxious, well we'll show them as many as they want. One thing we do for out of town customers, as soon as they give positive feedback, we snap a picture of the front and the thing they liked the most of that property. Helps keep us all on the same page when discussing which was which.

Yesterday I showed 4 homes and that was just to give them a feel for the area and different neighborhoods. I knew they wouldn't be buying anything yet and are from NY so don't really know the area. I also used this time to educate them on the process and things to think about, next steps, etc. When they are more serious, I would show more homes. I had a relocation couple who came in and were "ready"....we would start in the morning and fit in as many as we could....sometimes 15+...various towns and counties. Thats a good days work!!

10 or less. I learn their likes and dislikes. After that, I narrow it down to just a couple of homes as they pop up.

I did 26 on a Sat, and 22 on a Sun. this last Summer. Got the deal done.

I agree with Jessie, it depends on the buyers. For local people, I try to keep it around 5. Out of town buyers that are flying in just to find house, I will show as many as it takes.
