Ouch! $200 per lead? Is that a good lead or a bad one?
I get 10 - 40 leads per day off my website. Good thing I'm not paying $200 for each of them...

In Austin, Texas, I've estimated a value basis of $15 - $30 per Internet lead, depending upon the time of the year.

That's one statistic I don't have and am afraid of getting, lol!
I would have to figure in all print and Web advertising (seo work by the hour etc.), PPC costs, sign costs not to mention event advertising costs (booths, supplies/give aways). *closes eyes* I'm afraid to look ![]()

I know what you mean Jess!! You really have to take all that into consideration and how are we defining lead.

When I was doing "traditional" print advertising, including farming, postcards, etc., I evaluated cost per lead by lead source. Print ad leads were costing ne $100-$300 per lead, and PPC costs were (and are) $15-$20 per lead. That's why I don't do print advertising of any kind any more.
