Sounds like an good oppurtunity. May be a good way to get a jump in salary and a new position. The only warning is telling the company you currently work for where you are going. They may bark at you.

Hope it works out well

You mean something other than real estate?

No one has offered me anything like that - I think it is pretty clear this is what I do and I would not be interested.

I get a call at least once a month from some damn company looking for me to be on their sales team.

And then there's these stupid pyramid companies where someone comes up to me and says "hey...I have a great opportunity for you to make more money if you are keeping your business options open. Just listen to this conference call on Sunday".

I know I got a guy that calls me weekly wanting to take me to lunch. lol I told him if I wanted lunched I would buy it myself. Then I had another dude from kw sending me spam in my inbox, trying to take me to lunch. I had to send him a nasty email to have him get lost. Thats one thing I cannot stand is when someone from another company tries to recruite me. argggg

KW agents can be relentless sometimes. They get a small percentage of your sales if they recruit you and you are "under them". I don't really care for that approach, but they have grown at an amazing pace with it.

The sales job is not real estate related and the pay is actually pretty good but I doubt it I will take it because I love selling real estate. As for other real estate companies, KW is always calling and emailing me. IMO, I don't like their system.

Since it was one of your clients, I assume it is a non-real estate related company that offered you the sales job. I also assume he has the authority to hire you and is familiar with sales.

Though accepting the job could be an opportunity, accepting the job also would imply to this to your prospective employer that you are not exactly successful with your current position.

So you have a quandry to consider.

Other Real Estate companies hit me up all the time. It gets old after the third call, letter or e-mail. If I am interested in moving I will find them.
