Ever gone to submit your site to another site's links section and seen all the links and thought - do I have them, I'm sure I've seen them. But how many Tampa, Florida titles can you see before you go truly mad?
To counter this problem I've written a script which you can download from http://www.weberdev.com/get_example-4119.html It's not an easy peasy thing because you have to update some database queries and put in your own link submission form (assuming you do it that way) but for me it's great. My links are stored in a database and I have a public link submission form. I just reviewed http://www.relibrary.com/realtors/la.asp and the script identified that all the sites were new to me. As I reviewed each I was able to submit the link and then "hide" the form, making the page much less cluttered and letting me know where I'd been. Needless to say I'm pretty pleased with it and I've made it available for others to try. Let me know how you get on. Requirements * PHP * assumes MySQL database but could be easily used on other types * CURL or fsockopen Sarah |
