Default Title tags for text links question

I've always considered it spammy but I'm hearing that google is looking favorably upon them as long as it's not overdone..any opinions?

Rich I read that today in webpro news along with goooooogle selling PR, I wonder if they have some left over PR for me

It shows on mouse-over. Personally I don't think it can hurt as long as it's descriptive.

Rich, check out the accessibility standards at W3 http://www.w3.org/WAI/ . There are all kinds of things that I used to consider spammy that are apparently warranted by W3 for those that are visually impared.

wow...some of that stuff is spammerific

Maybe I'll try loadeding up a throw away site and test it out.
Does anybody else use all that stuffing with success

I think I will test it . I was reading about elsewhere and said what the heck can't hurt... well.. at least I will try it on a domain that I don't care about.
