Default Greetings from Idaho

Hi all,

I've read through the forums, and I must say you've got a great group of peeps here. Honest information, with a lot of good humor.

I'm currently a General Manager at a Manufacturing Facility for a start company in Idaho. I'm getting bored, and Real Estate really seems like an exciting field. This forum has really given me the bug.

What's the advantages/disadvantages of being an agent vs. a broker, is it feasible to do both, and in your opinion what is the better path to pursue?

Can anyone post a couple good links for a Real Estate noob to edumicate himself?

Looking forwards to hearing your responses, and getting to know you,

Norzic

In most States you have to be an agent for several years before you can become a Broker. I am not sure about Idaho?
Best to be a Broker and have agents working for you, except it's a risk because you have a lot of overhead. If you get your Brokers license eventually, you will probalby have to be a working agent/broker for a while until you build up a sales staff. It's a long road, but could be rewarding.
