Default HouseValues.com

Anyone ever had any experience with HouseValues.com I just got off the phone with them. They're another lead generator and I've read all the bad pub on the other one in here, just curious if anyone had worked with these guys before or not.

Definite double edge sword in my opinion. I usually steer clear and opt for just kicking their butt in the serps since I have an issure with having clients put money in the hands of those in direct competition for their search terms...

On the other hand, they have a hell of a marketing budget and do generate leads so there in lies the dilema

Sorry I was of no help whatsoever

They called us too.

We told them NO!

They wanted $1000.00 per month for "part" of a popular subdivision here called Arrowhead Ranch. They claim that they generate 6-8 leads (cma requests) per month for that price.

I explained to them that I can take that same $1000.00 and farm that area and generate the same if not better results. So why should I build their business and their brand, instead of mine?

They did not have much to say about that except "that I could not compete with their advertising budget".

Of course, I replied that I didn't need to!

For what it's worth,
Jim

1000.00 bucks a month for part of arrow head ranch ... wow more power to them. I wonder how many cma's were really refi's ?

So are they saying an unconfirmed cma lead is worth about $150.00? hmmm

I guess you would do that all day long if they were true listings but cma's

Now Rich,
I think its time to make a little "Internet Family" to compete with the BIG BOYS . I would stack up my knowlege ( and others here) with anything they can do online. However, The MOST H_U_G_E_S_T problem in competing with the lead farmers out there is Man Hours which of course comes from there investment captial.

But sometime soon we should get everyone together and do coop stuff I have my own colocated server and I don't think I am using half of my monthly bandwidth. Everyone has something to contribute

Good idea 2 Savvy,
I'm definitely interested in seeing what we can come up with
With all the talent and PR power we have here I think we might be able to come up with something National and workable.

Oh not to offend anyone or make it too elitest, It is possible to have more than one agent per city. I have received the same info from the same person that visited more than just one of my sites. So what I think I am trying to say is your getting shopped. Meaning that a person will visit several websites at first.
