Hey all- Im looking to beef up my directory and need your help

. Please add your Site to our directory. Investment Directory

Link backs are not required but greatly appreciated.

Also, Please do not spam! Only submit your Site to the most relevant category with a title as:

Your name - Your company

OR

Your Company

It looks like you're running your links through javascript.

It is what it is. It is not a link Exchange, its simply a directory. If your interested your welcome to post your site.

After I posted I saw another thread where you guys ripped into the guy for having a java script directory. I don't know about that guy, I never looked at his site, but jeesh relax a little. I am not a programer by trade, so I use scripts that I can find on sites like hotscripts.com. My directory is in java script, and until I read the other thread i didn't know it mattered. It was free, easy to implement, and easy to manage. I get about 1000 people a day to the site, and it does not require a recipicle link. So either post your site or don't, but please do not start bitching at me for offering something for FREE!

He is a moderator of this forum. I don't like it when people insult people on this forum sir, and you are very insulting.
If you read the rules for posting (links or directory submissions) in this forum you should see that what your doing is not allowed.

I am not insulting anyone(at least not trying to.) After I read the other thread (http://www.realestatewebmasters.com/thread2065.html)it seemed as I was about to be attacked, so I stated my position. You guys said its not acceptable linking practice, which i can understand if it is "trading" links, but there is not a backlink required, so does it really matter?

If i sound agrumentative I apologize!!! I just get defensive when I offer somthing for free and people complain about it. I am trying to work with you guys not against.

Actutally the other guy was trying to come across as if you would get a backlink, when asked about the javascript, he lied and said that the javascript was only being used to display the url at the bottom left of the screen, I viewed source and realized this not to be the case, then I realized he was linking to many spammy sites, and just trying to get our members to increase his pagecount and content for him.

There is nothing wrong with having a directory that is what it is, and certainly offering your traffic to members here, the only time I get upset is when people try to play it off as if members will get a link when they wont.

You stated clearly that members will not get a backlink, fair enough so I dont have a problem with the post. I appologise that my policy is not clear enough on this, I havent had time to write an "official" who can post in the directory section, I will discuss with the moderators.
